Our foundations are:

INDEPENDENCE – FREEDOM – LIABILITY

We know that a Young man at the threshold of his adulthood seeks and defines his identity and social belonging. This is a difficult process that requires challenging many previously known standards. Norms to which our world, the world of adults is attached. An adverse circumstance is also dynamic physical development, which consumes a looot of J energy and the accompanying „brainstorm”.

It is this „storm” that is responsible for changing moods or a lack of organization, but also for the transformation of thinking. Young people are more ready to logically order the knowledge they have acquired so far, formulate hypotheses based on it, long-distance planning, predicting consequences, understanding analogies, abstracting, generalizing or constructing metaphors. They are ready to think, but not necessarily to learn everything by heart. They are pragmatic – they must know the purpose and application of what they learn from their loved ones.

In their understanding of the world, teenagers are both very idealistic and very critical. During this time they are also sensitive to the needs of others, willing to help. It’s a great time for volunteering, which shapes them morally and helps them find themselves.

When designing the didactic and educational program for students of III and IV educational stage in MCEM, we set ourselves the goal of combining the implementation of areas and issues contained in the core curriculum of the Ministry of National Education, the philosophy and method developed by Dr. Maria Montessori and the latest knowledge on the neuropsychological foundations of teenagers functioning and their development needs
