Coronavirus pandemic and its effects

The coronavirus pandemic started almost 2 years ago in China. Covid came to Poland in March 2020 and all students went to online school. We all were surprised by the extent of the pandemic. Now, in March 2021, we are still at home most of the time. We have also online classes from October.

According to statistics, more than 30,000 people have already died because of the disease, which is a very big number. And that is only in one country.
But what about the effects of the pandemic? Except for the number of infected people we have in the world and the number of those who have died, we also have other ravages.

Many people have no work because of the lockdown. For example, travel services and everything related to entertainment went bankrupt or just have a few customers. Many workers can’t earn as much money as they did before. It is very hard for those people to sustain.

Also, many teenagers have troubles with mutual contact. They have online classes every day, and many of them can’t even meet with anyone, because they have to stay at home so as not to get infected. For sure they miss their friends very much. Young people are losing the best years of life. This is also unfavorable for adults.

These are only a few effects of the pandemic. I can’t wait for the end of the whole situation.
