We introduce Weronika, a student of our high school – she just won the provincial Chemical Olympics! Next to her is Mr. Wojtek, our chemistry teacher who prepared her for this event. Weronika has been interested in chemistry for years and it was love at first sight. The preparations for the Olympics took up to 9 hours a day. He met with Wojtek every Sunday, absorbing the material needed to solve difficult competition tasks. In the future, of course, he wants to study chemistry and is willing to devote himself to a scientific career related to it. You see rather in the laboratory and in the lecture hall than in an industrial corporation. Recently, Weronika has been very interested in quantum chemistry, an extremely modern and demanding field of knowledge – it is only getting to know it, but it is going to develop strongly in this direction.
We warmly congratulate Weronika and Mr. Wojtek, and all our students are encouraged to take part in interesting scientific competitions – it is really worth it!
