Before Covid we had normal lives. We were going to schools, shops, cinemas, skateparks etc. We had social lives, which we needed.
Now, today, I am mad. In Poland, we have been in lockdown for over a year now. Since March last year, we have practically not seen each other in schools. We have only had online lessons.
In my opinion, this is very harmful. I believe I have not learned much this school year. My motivation and attention are down. I feel I have lost interest in a lot of things that I liked doing before. A lot of my friends agree with me. Data shows that a lot of teenagers are depressed, more than before COVID. Young people must have contact with friends because it helps them learn how to interact with another person, how to resolve conflicts and just how to be together.
I know that Covid 19 is dangerous and I understand that the world had to change, but I think somebody should seriously take care of the mental health of teenagers around the world.
